HELP REGIMENTS

Tip:
Get to know the people in a regiment before diving head first into the military or you may find yourself defending those you hate and fighting those you like.

Definition:
Regiments are the focus for much activity in society and all of the best people who have not chosen to make the Church their home are members of a fighting regiment. Joining a regiment requires the agreement of the regimental leader, or somebody of sufficiently high rank to accept you. You can join leaderless regiments without any agreement providing you have enough rank. Regiments encourage strong loyalty and togetherness. Each regiment has its own BB accessible only by members of the regiment. Most regiments have stylish uniforms that its members must purchase and maintain. Being a member of a regiment will increase your health greatly (depending on your military rank).

Anybody, regardless of military rank, can use the following commands:

REGIMENTS Lists all regiments and their Colonels.

JOIN REGIMENT To ask to join a regiment

LEAVE REGIMENT To leave your present regiment

REGIMENT [regiment] A detailed view of yours, or another regiment.

BRIGADES [FOOT] View the Military Brigades

The regiments are organised into Brigades; these represent the social standing of the regiments in the land. The closer to the top brigade (the Guards Brigade) a regiment is, the more pay its soldiers receive.

A minimum social level may be required to join a regiment; these minimums are shown on the BRIGADES listing. There are additional requirements for being an officer within a regiment. These are added onto the minimum required for a regiment. If for some reason you do not maintain the minimum required, you will be thrown out.

The social level Social Level required above Regiment Minimum to be of a certain rank are as follows:
